  • Get started with opening the Windows Start menu.

  • Look for the Windows Firewall in the Windows Start menu and press the Enter key.

  • Tap on Advanced Settings and right-click on the Inbound Rules. Then, tap on New Rule.

  • Moving on, tap on Program and hit Next.

  • Tap on This Program Path and then Browse.

  • Look for the executable files and hit Next.

  • Hit on Allow the Connection, then Next.

  • Ensure all the profiles are marked in the prompted window and hit Next.

  • Finally, create a rule and name this as "QBFirewallException(name.exe)."

4. Check the QuickBooks Multi-User Hosting Set up on Your Server Computer

  • To get started, launch QuickBooks and select the File menu.

  • Choose Utilities> Host Multi-User Access.
